Lifestart and the Sydney Opera House will be hosting a relaxed performance of one of their children’s performances “Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge”.
The story of Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge is a 1984 Children's picture book by Mem Fox. It is about a boy, Wilfrid, who helps an elderly friend, Nancy, to regain some of her memory. There will be musicians on stage and the opportunity for those who book through Lifestart to meet the artists and their instruments afterwards.

Duration: 30 minutes + post show meet the Instruments, no interval

What is a relaxed performance:
In relaxed performances the environment is adapted in some of the following ways to make the performance more accessible:
- there is a relaxed attitude to noise made in the audience
- doors remain open and some lights (while dimmed) are on for the duration of the performance
- you can leave and re-enter the performance if you need a break
- there is a quiet space in the foyer to take a break.
In addition, a visual social story is available to assist in preparing for the event; there is the opportunity to meet the performers and additional staff from Lifestart are available to support your needs.
