    Have you always loved caring for others? Start training for a truly rewarding career with a Statement of Attainment in Health. This short course is an introduction to working in Hospitals, Aged Care facilities, Clinics, Private Medical Practices and Home and Community Services. Units within this course pathway into CIII in Health Services Assistance. Learn about the recruitment process for jobs with South Western Local Health District (SWSLHD). *If available, you will be given the opportunity to participate in work experience with SWSLHD.

    COURSE UNITS

    • CHCCOM005 Communicate and work in health or community services
    • CHCDIV001 Work with diverse people
    • HLTAAP001 Recognise health body systems
    • HLTWHS001 Participate in workplace health and safety


    This program is offered in partnership with CORE Community Services and South Western Local Health District.

    Course duration

    Starts on 19 October 2020                           Ends on 11 December 2020

    Attendance every Monday & Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm
