  • As part of community safety month and our ongoing work in preventing domestic and family violence in Canterbury Bankstown, we have arranged for two MATES Bystander training sessions to be delivered.

The first will explore what being a proactive bystander means, bystander intervention, and how to respectfully challenge difficult attitudes and behaviours. The bystander approach will help the community and organisationsto better understand and address concerns such as gender based violence and racism.

The second session will explore this further in relation to domestic and family violence and gender based violence.

This is a great opportunity to develop new skills! It is recommended that you attend both sessions.

The sessions are scheduled for the 4th and 24th of November. Please register using the links below.
