Why are we creating a lived experience group?
The NSW Women’s Safety Commissioner is calling for expressions of interest to join the NSW Lived Experience Advisory Group for people with lived experience of domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV).
This group will ensure that the voices of victim survivors are heard and central to how government policies and services are shaped.
- Up to 15 members will be selected for a two-year term.
- Members will be paid for their time and expertise.
- There is also an opportunity to join a broader lived experience network for one-off consultations and activities.
We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, including First Nations people, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, migrants, neurodivergent people, and more. We are committed to diversity, inclusion, safety and privacy throughout the process.
