Join us for an introduction to sewing. This hand stitching workshop will teach you both functional and decorative stitches, from sewing on buttons, repairing holes in fabric, socks, knitwear, hemming pants, mending and embroidering garments. Participants get a small sewing kit to keep, to continue mending and sewing at home. Participants are also welcome to bring a garment or accessory for advice on how to mend it.
A supervised play space is available for young children
