DESCRIPTION:Youth Engagement Project presents: \nIN PERSON TRAINING GEN Z & COMMUNITY TRAINING \nGen Z & Gen Alpha in a Digital World \nYoung people today are shaped by technology\, social media\, and constant connectivity. This session \nexplores how online culture impacts their identity\, communication\, and wellbeing and how as adults \nwe can respond with strategies that foster autonomy\, competence\, and relatedness – elements that \nunderpin the Self Determination Theory and engagement. \n\nTrauma-Informed Practice in the Digital Age \nOnline experiences – cyberbullying\, global crises\, digital overwhelm – can activate protective \nresponses in young people. This session equips participants with trauma-informed strategies to \ncreate safe\, supportive spaces for sensitive conversations without harm. \n\nBehaviour\, Boundaries & Belonging \nDigital pressures influence how Gen Z and Alpha show up in classrooms and communities. This \nsession explores relational approaches to behaviour that balance clear expectations with empathy\, \nbelonging\, and re-engagement.
