Course description: Mums & Bubs classes at AMEP TAFE NSW Campsie is offering English classes in parenting context. It aims at parents who cannot attend classes because they are looking after their children, and also it offers a great opportunity for new parents to make connections with other parents and also with their local community.
This course also provides: Mums & Bubs classes offer English study AND Parenting workshops every week. You will learn simply everyday English, and also you will listen to guest speakers from professionals, and also local community service providers.
Course outcomes including: § English study: § Understand and read simple story books to your children § Have simple conversations with parents in the local community § Talk about routines, habits, or behaviours of your children § Read and write simple notes and simple instructions § Develop a bank of vocabulary in parenting/school context
Parenting workshops: § Have a better understanding of parenting, education, and schools in Australia § Networking with parents and local community services
