Invitation to the third Young Thinking seminar of 2020 - Thursday, 19 Nov

  • We would like to invite you to the third session of a series of joint seminars by ACYP and the Children and Youth Research Network, UNSW. This event, Embedding the voices of children and young people in social systems and services, will be conducted as a webinar during which speakers will discuss how they are incorporating the voices of children and young people in their work and the challenges they have encountered along the way.

    The seminar brings together speakers from academia, government and non-government organisations. Speaking at this event will be:

    • Ms Rosie Thomas OAM, Co-Founder, CEO Project Rockit
    • Ms Kristine Wendtman, Manager Volunteer Relations and Workforce Planning, NSW Rural Fire Service and Representative of the NSW RFS Young Members Group
    • Ms Amanda Bull, Assistant Manager, Youth Justice NSW
    • Ms Laurel Mimmo, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick and PhD candidate, School of Population Health, University of New South Wales

    The seminar is open to anyone who works in the children and young people sector.
