- This an 8 week course, commencing on Wednesday 5 August – Wednesday 23 September. To be delivered online using Microsoft Teams, a connected learning environment. Time: 9:30am – 1:30pm
The units are:
- Mentoring in a community setting- to develop an understanding of the role of a mentor in a community setting and prepare to provide assistance and guidance to others.
- Engage in a community activity - how to locate information, communicate effectively and develop an action plan. Suitable for individuals or groups who need to access local government services and community groups.
- Must have access to a computer/laptop and know how to use the computer - to connect with Microsoft Teams
- Student workbooks , are provided to support individual learning.
- To successfully course complete, students will be required to undertake assessment tasks.
- Working level of English
- TAFE enrolment eligibility requirements apply
- Fully government subsidised course for eligible enrolments
