Building Social Skills in the Early Years

  • Start School Strong is offering this information session for mums, dads, carers and grandparents with children up to the age of 6 years.

    Social skills are one of the most important skills that develop in the early childhood years.

    They affect your child’s communication, relationships, resilience and school success.

    Fairstart Early Intervention Speech Pathologist Sangeerthana Anandakumar will explore:

    ·        the social skills that children should develop in their early childhood years

    ·        how social skills can be taught or supported by parents

    ·        what to do if you have concerns

    ·        how early learning supports children to start school strong
