    Description

The first 1000 days of a child’s life, from conception to age two, is the most important time for rapid growth and development. It is when the foundations that ensure a child’s lifelong wellbeing is laid. The First 1000 Days program supports parents by providing them with strategies to better provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn, grow and thrive in. The program explores brain development. It will help you better understand how children grow, what they need and the importance of family relationships. This program will give you an opportunity to reflect on your own childhood and how to improve the way you connect with your child. The program also seeks to build your confidence as a parent, and advocates for those seeking support.

Who: Expectant and new parents with children aged birth-2-years-old.

    Cost: FREE
