  • Short course: The CALD Vocational Language (CVL) program

    Course description:

    This short course will provide access to training that specifically addresses the language skills CALD people need to gain employment in the Community Services Sector with a focus in Disability and Aged Care services. This course supports migrants and refugees with marketable vocational skills and knowledge to secure employment within the Australian workforce.

     This course also provides:

    Information and language that is relevant to the Community Service Sector in Australia. There are employment opportunities in the Disability and Aged Care Sectors.

    Course outcomes including:

    • Improve understanding of words and language used in the Community Services sector
    • Greater understanding of the different job roles in the Disability and Aged care organisations
    • Pathway information of the Community Services Courses

     

    HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

    7week - one day a week             

    Start date: Friday 23 Oct. to 27 Nov. 9.30am to 2.30pm
